Southwire’s Top Gun Apprentice award is designed to award the top graduating apprentice from each of our Industry Partner’s training programs. Apprentices earn the Top Gun title by achieving top scores throughout their program and skills competition. Top Gun apprentices will be awarded a Southwire tools backpack valued at over $900!
Kristy Phillips
North American Trade Association Manager
Kristy has been with Southwire for over ten years working in a variety of positions and projects from Southwire Solutions University Manager to Project Manager for facility renovations. She currently leads efforts with key industry partners as the North American Trade Association Manager. In this role, Kristy has responsibility for growing Southwire’s relationships across the US and Canada. She is integral in driving the Southwire Solutions set to new and existing contractor leaders. In addition, Kristy is leading efforts to invest in the next generation of Electrical Contractors through apprentice programs.
