Reflecting the company’s continuing commitment to sustainability, Southwire recently launched its annual sustainability report, prepared in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards: Core option. This online update features the company’s approach, goals and advancement in its most significant, or “material,” sustainability topics.
The 2018 report highlights all areas of sustainability at Southwire and shares insight into the company’s most significant impacts and opportunities. The online report outlines and details Southwire’s progress toward its goals and strategies, which align with five tenets—Growing Green, Living Well, Giving Back, Doing Right and Building Worth.“As I’ve said many times before, we are committed to remaining generationally sustainable for the next 100 years and beyond,” said Rich Stinson, president and CEO. “We are pleased to share this report and the progress we’ve made toward meeting our goals in 2018, but it doesn’t stop here.
