Newsweek Names Southwire as One of America’s Greatest Workplaces for 2024

Southwire, North America’s leading wire and cable company, is pleased to share it has been named as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces for 2024 by Newsweek and Plant-A Insights Group. The list recognizes companies for their performance on a range of relevant metrics based and a large-scale employer study based on more than 1.5 million comprehensive company reviews from more than 250,000 employees. This commendation comes on the heels of two other recognitions from Newsweek, including America’s Greatest Workplaces for Mental Wellbeing and America’s Greatest Workplaces for Diversity.

The methodology for American’s Greatest Workplaces 2024 is based on a multi-stage evaluation, including:

  • A pre-study survey that interviewed HR professionals to identify current and future employee satisfaction drivers.
  • A employee survey among U.S. employees who reviewed employers they were familiar with. The independent study is based on >250,000 interviews and more than 1.5 million company reviews collected in 2022 and 2023.
  • A desk research project which collected information on 15 key performance indicators relevant for a great employee experience.
