Our firm commitment to ethics, anti-corruption, and transparency is at the heart of our Doing Right tenet. We want every team member to have the knowledge and resources needed to thrive in our “speak up” culture, and we promote awareness and reporting through a variety of programs and communications.
At Southwire, we take seriously our responsibility to safeguard information relating to our company, customers, suppliers, and team members. We invest in resources and educate our team members to enhance our data and information security to prevent breakdowns and security breaches.
Our Supplier Sustainability program sets the foundation for rigorous procurement practices that support the resilience, competitiveness, and longevity of our company. As part of our program, we invest in diverse suppliers, including businesses owned and operated by minorities, women, and veterans. In addition, we support the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative’s (EITI) goal of promoting open and accountable management of natural resources and are a partner of the Copper Mark.
